Classical music publicist Samantha Holderness works independently in the UK and France promoting artists, orchestras, record labels and festivals. With a particular focus on artist PR, Samantha represents leading soloists in their overall communications, from positioning and messaging to frontline PR and promotion. She works closely with artists and management to develop a vision and PR strategy that complements an artist’s career for the long-term, raising profile and enhancing reputation with integrity.
Prior to becoming independent, Samantha spent several years at EMI Music and Albion Media, working on PR campaigns from Kylie and Coldplay to Marin Alsop and Joyce DiDonato. She has also worked at global media company Universal McCann in digital communications. As well as current clients, Samantha has handled PR for Colin Currie, Michael Barenboim, Naive Classique, Alpha Classics, Festival de Pâques Aix en Provence and the International Tchaikovsky Competition, among others. Samantha is fluent in French and also works in the French media, having lived in Paris for several years. Samantha plays classical piano.
